New Year’s Greetings
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy new year.
In 2019, we were able to deliver a wide range of activities that promoted a society enriched by art and culture. This would not have been possible without the support of our corporate members and partners, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped us.
In 2020, the Olympic and Paralympic Games—a sports and culture festival―will be held and many artistic and cultural activities will unfold throughout Japan. 2020 is also a year in which the association will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of our founding, as well as begin on our path of the next thirty years.
Furthermore, looking to 2030, there is a need to work to meet SDGs, goals for realizing a sustainable world. The role of mécénat activities, which lead to investments in the future, is becoming more and more important for companies as well.
As an association for the corporate support of the arts, with this year and beyond, we will aim for providing a cultural promotion platform to create a rich hearted society, continuing to highlight companies that engage in culture-based local and social creation throughout Japan. In addition to shining a light on their diverse activities, we will work to disseminate to the world and pass them onto the future.
Again, we would like to thank everyone for your continued support, and extend my wishes for a happy and prosperous new year.
